It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Strauss (Shrub Oak, New York), who passed away on April 6, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Strauss (Samson) and Arthur Strauss; his wife Carol Strauss; his son-in-law Craig Minella; and his nephew Chuck Giandana.
He is survived by: his friends, Dan, Kee Kong and Mike Bevanda; his children, Craig Strauss (Tracey), Pam Strauss and Leigh Minella; his grandchildren, JD, Anna Colarusso, Julianne and Lauren Strauss; his brother-in-law Charlie Giandana (Nancy); his nieces, Anna and Lisa; and his cousins, Joe, Ellen and Victor Mascolo.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dan's memory to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Westchester.
