In the vast expanse of eternity, Gjyste shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gjyste farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kolë Nikolla Kalaj and Lulë Nikollja Camaj; her husband Gjekë Vuksani Vulaj; her children, Mare (Toma), Baco (Prena), Ujka (Tonya), Martin (Elizabeth) and Nick (Sonia); and her family New. She was also cherished by Five children and their spouses, Thirteen grandchildren (ages 51 to 13), and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Yorktown Funeral Home (945 E Main St, Shrub Oak, NY 10588).
