He was predeceased by: his parents, Harland Hares and Evelyn Hares; his parents-in-law, Patrick and Eleanor DeSarro; his son-in-law George; and his brother-in-law David Kuney.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his daughters, Rachel and Allyson (Dustin); his granddaughter Madyson; his siblings, Jim, Bill Hares (Dorothy), Peg Cooper (David) and Joanne Hares; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Gallagher (Paul), Mary-Ellen Kuney and Michele Gefell (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
