She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Selden Johnston and Gladys Johnston (Macumber); her siblings, Stanley, Stewart, Kenneth Johnston, Nellie Wellman and Mary Conklin; her in-laws, Maynard and Edna Emerson (Strong); her siblings-in-law, Richard, Kenneth Emerson and Carol Emerson Holder; her daughter Debra Emerson Tranvaag; her grandsons, Charles Lewis Emerson, II and Scott Pavlick; and her great grandchild Lainey Annalyn McClenon.
She is survived by: her significant other Charles Emerson of Sidney, NY; her children, Bob, Cynthia Emerson, Joanie, Randy Thomas, Sheri and Michael Kinsella; her son-in-law Ola Tranvaag; her grandchildren, Kristin Locke (Bill), Derek Emerson (Lindsay), Stephanie Halbert (Jason), Heidi Foster (Mike Klockowski), Jodi Pavlick, Chanalle Pecka (Todd), Melanie LaRose, Marcie LaRose, Traci Varrasso, Kailey Barse (Billy) and Michaela McClenon (David); and her sisters-in-law, Donna Wilsey, Shirley Emerson and Linda Emerson. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
