She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Plows and Pierson Plows; her former husband Peter J. Players of West Pittston, PA; and her son-in-law Christopher E. George. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey S. Players (Kim) of Telford, PA and Gwenda Players-George of West Camp, NY; her brother Keith Plows (Lois) of Stockertown, PA; her grandchildren, Victoria Players of VanBuren, OH, Rachel Brown (Tyler) of Kingston, NY, Olivia Paris (Alec) of Sarasota, FL, Daniel George (Madeleine Ruthe) of Saugerties, NY and Natalie Perry (Branden) of Lake Katrine, NY; her great grandchild Hazel Tara Thakur of VanBuren, OH; and her husband Scott. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (28 River St, Sidney, NY 13838). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at the Prospect Hill Cemetery East Main.
