He was predeceased by: his father Edgar Evans Sr.; his grandparents, Edgar T and Anna-May Evans; his brother Jimmy Evans; and his son Johnny Evans.
He is survived by: his mother Anna Mcnesby; his stepmother Patrica Evans; his brothers, Milton Evans and Thomas Evans (Faith); his children, Tanya Evans, Gina Jimmerson James Rivera (Vincent), Edgar Y Evans III and Lynn Evans; and his grandchildren, Lacie, Julissa, Kiarah, Jaelyn, Johnny Jr., Lydia, Kay-Lynn, Antwon Jr., Adonis, Owen, Jessika, Ryan, Avery, Isidro, Ezekiel, Leilani Aly, Clarianne, Alaray and Tyson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
