With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frederick L. Obert Jr. of Sinclairville, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick L. Obert and Ernestine McIntyre Obert Sr.; his daughter Lisa Waite; and his siblings, Terry Obert and Beverly "Becky" Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine M. Abbey Obert; his children, Natalie Manno (John) and Thomas Obert (Julie); his son-in-law Dr. Rodney Waite; his grandchildren, Zachary Waite (Margaret), Alex Waite (Rachael), Nathan Waite (Jen), Mariana Waite (Reeju Bhowmick), Justin Yarbrough (Beth), Victoria Joy Manno (Caleb Lindstrom), Jacob Killion (Lindsay), Dallas Delcamp (Kyrie) and Jess Jackson (Cody); his great grandchildren, Charles, Peyton, Henry, Evelyn, Ruby, Willow, Ayla, Lux, Connor, Alex, Cali, Jaxson and Cameron; and his sister Carol Frew (Mike).
