He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Flanders Carlson; his children, Tracey Stewart (Jeff) of Baltimore, MD, Gary Carlson (Jane) of Louisiana, Mark Carlson (Charlotte) of Georgia, Martin Carlson (Ashley) of Kiantone and David Carlson (Shani) of Charleston, SC; and his grandchildren, Kevin Carlson, Kyle Carlson, Taylor Carlson, Abigail Carlson, Nadia Carlson, Aidan Carlson, Zoe Carlson, Melanie Carlson, Levi Carlson, Ivan Purdin, Liam Stewart and Callum Stewart.
