He was predeceased by : his parents, Giovanni Sereno and Annetta Sereno; his siblings, Salvatore of Syracuse and Salvatrice of Italy; and his siblings-in-law, Ignazio of Italy, Providenza of Syracuse and Nunziatina of Italy.
He is survived by : his wife Maria (Giudice); his children, Anna Murphy (William) and John Sereno (Maria); his grandchildren, William Jr. Murphy (Jessica), Christopher Murphy (Yoyo), Danielle During (George), Adriana Savage (Christopher) and Francesca Sereno (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Emma, William III, Noah, Eleanor, Connor, Taylor, Clare, Grace and Olivia; and his caregiver Sarah.
