Joseph DiSalvo Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph DiSalvo of Slate Hill, New York, who passed away on October 14, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph DiSalvo and Marie DiSalvo; and his brothers-in-law, Michael Bianchini, Thomas LaBanaca and Frank Infante.
He is survived by: his wife Jill Wuagneux DiSalvo; his stepchildren, Colin J. Schmitt (Nikki Pagano-Schmitt) of Nanuet, NY and Hannah Schmitt of Goshen, NY; his grandchildren, Harper and Felicity; his sisters, Rosemarie Bianchini of Wappingers Falls, NY, Catherine LaBanca of Yorktown, NY and Linda Infante of Peekskill, NY; and his in-laws, Carmel, Paul Malec, Jamie, Shaun Boland, Jeff and Ellen Wuagneux. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home (82 S Church St, Goshen, NY 10924). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (70 Carmelite Dr, Middletown, NY 10940). A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Saint Marys Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe's memory to two charities close to his heart: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 and The Hudson Valley SPCA, PO Box 356, Vails Gate, NY 12584.
