In the vast expanse of eternity, Donald shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Donald farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cheryl; his children, Chris, Beth, Sonya, Donald Jr. and Colleen; and his siblings, David and Sandy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Fives Smithtown Funeral Home (31 Landing Avenue, Smithtown, NY 11787). A prayer will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the St. Patrick R. C. Church (280 E Main St, Smithtown, NY 11787). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery (172-00 Booth Memorial Avenue, Flushing, New York 11365).
