We bid farewell to Rose Bevers (Smithtown, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 5, 2025 at the age of 91. Rose touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Rose may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rose touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sons, Edward and Frank; and her granddaughters, Christina and Stephanie.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Fives Smithtown Funeral Home (31 Landing Avenue, Smithtown, NY 11787). A prayer was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick R. C. Church (280 E Main St, Smithtown, NY 11787). A burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the St. John Cemetery (80-01 Metropolitan Ave, Middle Village, NY 11379).
