He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Perley Cook Sr. and Gladys Benedict; his children, Lisa Rice (Todd) of New Hartford, Tina Ike (Bob) of Interlaken, Francis Quackenbush of Ohio and Debbie Tyler (Eric) of Mt. Upton; his grandchildren, Kory Rice (Elise), Kayla Palmer (Anthony), Jeffrey Monroe (Naomi), Jared, Miranda, Kylie Quackenbush, Lindsey Klockowski (Logan), Sabrina Price (Aaron), Garrett Bard, Montana and Landen Tyler; the mother of his children Elaine "Kate" DeBlock; and his half-brothers, Larry and Ivan Dunagan. He was also cherished by 12 great grandchildren.
A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the New York State Veterans Cemetery – Finger Lakes.
