She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Goetzman and Mary Smith Goetzman; her husband Everett J. Briggs; her daughter Terri Moulton; her granddaughter Stacey Moulton; and her brother Richard Goetzman.

She is survived by: her son Steve Briggs (Janice); her grandchildren, Josh Briggs (Courtney), Ashley Arno (Del) and Jason Moulton (Jeremy Tillapaugh); her great grandchildren, Paisley Briggs and James Arno; her sister-in-law Nancy Goetzman; and her son-in-law Charles Moulton.

In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Carol may be made to the Sodus Center Fire Department.
