He was predeceased by: his parents, Merritt Switzer and Anne Switzer; his mother-in-law Florence Powers; his brothers, Phillip and Frederick; and his siblings-in-law, Jay Harris, Gary Powers and Annette Switzer.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue; his daughters, Laura Brown (David) and Melanie DeBadts (Benjamin); his grandchildren, Austin, Sierra, Evan, Jackson, Kendall, Maya and Connor; his siblings, Douglas, Patricia Clark (Herb), Vincent, Loretta, Martin and Leslie; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Karp, Judith Powers and George Powers (Beth). He is also survived by many extended family members, friends.
