He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John, Irene Vanderlinde, Newton and Kate Marr; his uncles, John Schinsing, Bernard Putnam, Jack Vanderlinde, David Vanderlinde and Nelson Kise; and his aunt Shirley Kise.
He is survived by: his close friend Jennifer Babcock; his parents, Donald Vanderlinde and Georgia Vanderlinde; his sister Sandra Garrod (Doug); his aunts and uncles, Doris Schinsing, Deborah Putman, John Marr (Diane) and Thomas Marr (Marcia Melnyk); his nephews, Ryan Garrod (Ashley), Cody Garrod (Megan) and Connor Garrod; his pets, Carly and Colby; and also Dylan Babcock. He is also survived by many cousins and other friends.
