She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sr. Callahan and Julia M. Callahan (Bush); her sister Fannie Harvey; and her close friends, Vivian Bain, Evelyn Kifer and Ruby Crawford.
She is survived by: her husband Eric Morris; her daughters, Sharon Sims, Jackie Jones, Anita Morris and Brenda Morris; her siblings, Mary Alice Johnson, Bettye L. Dean and James Jr. Callahan (Daisy); and her grandchildren, Nicholas Sims, Veronica Sims, Keenan Sims, Kenneth Jr. Jones (Genieve), Danice Jones, Erica Wickman and Denetra Morris. She is also survived by many great‑grandchildren and great‑great‑grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
