With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Wheeler of Sodus, New York, who passed away on January 5, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Wheeler and Mildred Wheeler (Sparks); and his siblings, Josephine VanWinkle (James), Charlotte Wheeler, Doris Wheeler, Joyce Wheeler, Kenneth Wheeler (Beverly) and Herbert Wheeler (Gisela).
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Wheeler (Schumaker); his children, Michael Wheeler (Debbie), Mark Wheeler (Cindy), Michelle Fontaine (Brett), Matthew Wheeler and Mellissa Youngman (Marc); and his sisters, Janice Oakes (Bob) and Peggy Kennedy (Bob). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
