She was predeceased by : her parents, Cleto Chemotti and Serafina Chemotti (Artini); her husband Daniel Fragnito; and her siblings, Abramo Chemotti and Dalcisa Cominolli-Tarolli.

She is survived by : her children, Mark Fragnito (Kim), Judy Fougnier (Ray) and Amy Geremia (Mark); her grandchildren, Nicholas (Lauren), Christopher Taylor (Gabrielle), Saul (Mimi), Daniel, Erica (Jeremy) and Michael; and her great grandchildren, Tate, Indie, Jace, Charli, River, Fiona and Finnick. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Josephine's memory to the St. Marianne Cope Parish, 105 Stanton Ave, Solvay, NY 13209.
