He was predeceased by: his wife Marge; his brother Edward; his son Larry; and his grandson Richard. He is survived by: his daughters, Maureen Procopio, Kathy Procopio and MaryJane Cavano; his grandchildren, April, Amanda, Frank, Brandy, Eric, Candace, Glen, Timothy and Terry; and his siblings, Gerald Bevens and Betty Slate. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Solvay Fire Department 1925 Milton Ave. Solvay, NY 13209.
