She was predeceased by: her parents, John Romano and Nicolena Romano; and her husband Frank "Twerpy" Fernandez. She is survived by: her children, Marc Fernandez (Cathy), Michele Fernandez and Maria Bigelow (Kevin); her grandchildren, Emily Pelcher (James), Ethan Bigelow (Michalena), Elizabeth Fernandez and Jacob Bigelow; her brothers, Joseph Romano (Lynne) and Michael Romano (Elena); and her pet Coco. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, many extended relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Cecilia Church (1001 Woods Rd, Syracuse, NY 13209).
