It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Theresa M. Capucilli of Solvay, New York, who passed away on June 23, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Danny; her parents, Nicholas Dattellas and Mary Dattellas (Brown); her siblings, Lucille Dattellas, Philomena Boland, Irene Barnello and Charles Dattellas; and her grandchildren, David Capucilli and Jamie Ripple.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis (Jo Anne), William (Alyssa), Mary Debra (McCafferty), Terese (William), Danny, Jr. (Janine), Michael and Elizabeth (Michael). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her beloved caretakers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home (2601 Milton Ave, Solvay, NY 13209). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Marianne Cope Parish–st. Cecilia (1001 Woods Rd, Syracuse, NY 13209).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Theresa's memory to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, The Special Olympics of NY, or Doctors without Borders.
