We announce the death of Alma Martin of Somers, New York, who passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 98. Alma will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Alma will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Alma will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Alma’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Langis and Jeanne Langis; her husband Raymond E. Martin; her sister Cecile Walsh; her brother-in-law Peter Walsh; her sister Jeanne Angerani; and her brother-in-law Joseph Angerani.
She is survived by: her daughter Cecile Locurto (Martin); her son-in-law Charles Locurto; and her granddaughter Christina Richards (Nelson Richards). She is also survived by her family and her sister's husband.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home (262 E Main St, Mt Kisco, NY 10549). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the St. Patrick Church (137 Moseman Rd, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598). A burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Valhalla, NY 10595).
