It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara A. LaGuidice of Somers, New York, who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Barbara departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Barbara. Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Anderson and Sylvi Anderson (Nelson); and her daughter Janice Dyas. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Laguidice; her former husband John E. Rivard; her children, John A. Rivard (Julie) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Jennifer Rivard of Elizaville, NY and James Rivard (Tammy) of Danbury, CT; and her brother Bruce Anderson (Joanne) of Cold Spring, NY. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Barbara's name may be made to the Somers Volunteer Ambulance Corp.
