We announce the death of Caroline Pappas of Somers, New York, who passed away on October 24, 2026, at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, William George and Irene George; her husband George; and her siblings, Evelyn McCullough and George George.
She is survived by: her son Peter (Ellen); her grandchildren, William (Hilary) and Elizabeth (Anthony); her niece Susan Peters; and her nephews, Billy George and Jordy George.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Greek Orthodox Church of Our Savior (2195 Westchester Ave E, Rye, NY 10580). An entombment was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Rose Hills Memorial Park (101 Mill St, Putnam Valley, NY 10579).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Greek Orthodox Church of Our Savior.
