He was predeceased by: his parents, Hamilton Delfs and Dorothy Delfs. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Delfs; his sons, Christopher (Rosie) of Lancaster, PA and Evan of Somers, NY.; his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Josephine and Louisa Delfs of Lancaster, PA.; his mother-in-law Joan Stafford of Somers; his siblings-in-law, Bill Stafford of Glendale, Arizona, Caryn Sobel (Robert) of Maryland and Jackie Kunda (Scott) of Newburgh; and the mother of his children Barbara Delfs of Somers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Contributions in Dave's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
