With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Ann McAward of Somers, New York, who passed away on July 27, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Vincent and Gladys Brown Schehr; and her brother Robert Schehr. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Patrick Joseph, IV, Robert Benedict, Anne Katherine, Andrew Jacob, Erin Rose, Timothy James, Jr., Katherine Mae, Caroline Mary, Mary Elizabeth and Bridget Marie; her great grandchildren, Victoria Isabelle, John Robert, Ryan James, Charlotte Anne, Patrick Finn and Liam Robert; her brother Jack Schehr of Jacksonville; and also, Patrick J. McAward, Jr., Patrick Joseph, III (Nancyanne) of Michael John, SM, Timothy James (Megara), Maura Jean (Cathy) and Kevin Jeremy (Jennifer).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clark Associates Funeral Home (4 Woodsbridge Rd, Katonah, NY 10536). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (95 Plum Brook Rd, Somers, NY 10589). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
