It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin D. Conklin of South Dayton, New York, who passed away on December 20, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Durward Conklin and Julia Conklin (McNamara); and his wife Kay. He is survived by: his children, Steve Conklin (Jonica), Michael Conklin and Becky Poulsen (Tim); his grandchildren, Dana, Tyler (Rachel), Eric (Alexandria), Kelly (Matthew), Christopher, Daniel, Mary Elizabeth, Alix, Katie (Tristan) and Ian; his great grandchildren, Harlee, Mckenzie, Zackry, Lindee, Colt, Gracin, Corrine, Cooper, Zariah, Henry and Liam; and his brother Clyde (late Margie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
