He was predeceased by: his parents, James Scott and Alice Scott (LaRouette); and his sisters, Irene Kelsey, June Jamison and Susan Jamieson.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Colburn Scott; his siblings, James Scott (Karen), Andrew Scott and Mary Rowland (Randy); his stepsons, Christopher and Dale Sandy; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Nicholas, Jacob Sandy and Morgan Sandy Volk. He is also survived by four Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
