We bid farewell to John Augustus Dixon (South Glens Falls, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 24, 2025 at the age of 86. John Augustus touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dixon and Isabel Dixon (Marks); his wife Patricia Lambert; his siblings, Jean Etu and Donald Dixon; and his siblings' children, Monique, Denais, Kelly, Matthew and William.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Dixon (Rosemary), Christine Collins (T. Burke), Candi Dixon and Jack Dixon (Rita); his grandchildren, Michael Dixon (Jenna), Nina Long (Jackson), Joseph Dixon, Kyle Dixon and John Dixon; his great grandchildren, Leona Dixon and Robert Dixon; and his brother Kenny Dixon (Flossy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the M. B. Kilmer Funeral Home- SGF (136 Main St, South Glens Falls, NY 12803). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Church (80 Saratoga Ave, South Glens Falls, NY 12803).
