He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. Miller and Shirley A. Miller; his grandparents, Arthur J. and Leona R. Boyea; and his former wife Mary Miller (Cross).

He is survived by: his wife Sandra Miller (Way); his siblings, Robert Miller (Paula) of St. Petersburgh, FL, Kathryn Miller of Glens Falls, NY, Sandra Miller of Hudson Falls, NY, James Miller, Theresa Monroe of Hudson Falls, NY, Daniel Miller (Mea) of Queensbury, NY and Jessica Clifford of Tullahoma, TN; his mother-in-law Myrtle Witherbee; and his stepfather-in-law Mike Witherbee. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association.
