He was predeceased by: his sister Maureen Eisele. He is survived by: his friend Betty O'Boyle; his wife Betty Dempsey; his children, Christine (Jeff Kiely), Thomas Dempsey (Wendy) and Joseph Dempsey (Monica); his stepson Danny O'Boyle; his sister Eileen Fitzpatrick; his brothers-in-law, Tom Fitzpatrick and George Eisele; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Melissa Kiely, Danielle, Shealyn Dempsey, Aidan and Kieran Jackson; and also Siobhan O'Boyle (Steve Jackson). He is also survived by nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews and nephews.
