He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Smrcka and Edward Smrcka; and his brothers, Edward and Robert Smrcka. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Brian Smrcka (Pam) and Jean Cunningham; his granddaughters, Caitlin Olsen (Kyle), Sarah Cunningham and Kathryn Smrcka Triff (Ivan); and his great grandchildren, Taylor and Aubrey Olsen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, sister-in-law.
