He was predeceased by : his parents, Ashley and Henrietta Perkins; his brother George; his sister-in-law Patricia Perkins; his brother Edward Perkins; his brother-in-law Maurice Parker; his brother Douglas; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Parker and Donald Ferren.

He is survived by : his wife Margaret Parker Perkins; his sisters-in-law, Marie Perkins and Janet Parker-Ferren; his children, Andrew Perkins (Brenda), Dawn Perkins and Barbara Cafariella (Bill); and his grandchildren, Ashley DeLong (Jeremiah), Kate Brooks (Ed), Liz Donecker (Dylan) and Willa Perkins. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
