He was predeceased by: his parents, William O'Connell and Mae O'Connell. He is survived by: his wife Donna Demers O'Connell; his sons, Robert O'Connell (Jill) and James O'Connell (Nadine); his grandchildren, Anthony, Cialeigh, Emily, Samantha and Josie; and his siblings, Nancy O'Connell, William and Michael O'Connell.

A prayer will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Gardner Earl Memorial. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

Donations in his name may be made to the Lansingburgh Little League or the Lansingburgh Royals.
