It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William A. Solimene of Speigletown, New York, who passed away on June 11, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William A. Solimene to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Solimene and Josephine Masucci Solimene; his son Christopher William Solimene; and his brother Louis Solimene (late Dolores). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Dignum Solimene; his daughter Josephine Solimene Rustin (Jude); his brother Joseph Solimene (Kathleen); his grandchildren, Lily Rustin and Grant Rustin; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Dignum, Edward J. Dignum (Melanie), Joanne DeMeo (Tony), Martha Miller (Joseph), James Dignum, Robert Dignum (Mary), Cynthia Weber (John), Michael Dignum (Judy), Jeanne Dignum Birch and Paul Dignum (Nancy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 9:55 AM at the Transfiguration Parish (50 Hillview Dr, Troy, NY 12182). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Agnes Cemetery (48 Cemetery Ave, Albany, NY 12204).
