He was predeceased by: his wife Penny; his daughter Tia Marie Poyer; his parents, Carl Poyer and Etta Poyer; and his brother Philip Poyer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Leslie Tobin (Christopher) of Lockport and Kristen Zale (Michael) of Spencerport; the mother of his children Carole Poyer; his siblings, Arland Hanning (Evie) and Theresa Battaglia (Vincent); and his grandchildren, Lena, Finnegan Tobin, Dominick, Luca, Charlie and Leo Zale.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes (Marchofdimes.org) or the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF.org (http://vvmf.org)) in Garold's memory.
