He is survived by: his wife Lynn Hess (Sage); his children, Daniel Hess (Jill), Tim Hess (Melanie), Tamara Budgeon (Casey), Carrie Goergen (Erik), Michelle Collichio (Mark) and Jay Gallagher (Stasha Laquitara); his grandchildren, Adriella, Jack, Evan, Peyton, Cole, Declan, Braeden, Lance (Samantha) and Jeremy; his sister MaryEllen Brooks (Art); and his brother-in-law John Sage. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walker Brothers Funeral Home (15 West Ave, Spencerport, NY 14559). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John Fisher University, 3690 East Ave, Rochester, NY 14618, and/or the Sisters of St. Joseph of Rochester, 150 French Rd, Rochester, NY 14618.
