We bid farewell to Robert L. Owen of Spencerport, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 29, 2025 at the age of 92. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Owen and Lelia Riggan Owen; his wife Joan E. Owen; his son-in-law Cory L. Doty; his in-laws, Gilbert and Charlotte Hess; and his siblings, Erby Gene, Wilbur Lee, Bernard, Richard Owen, Jearlean Woody, Elsie Mae Wilson, Ethel Lumpkin, Susie Blalock and Sarah Puckett.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Owen (Blanca), Terry Owen and Kimberly Doty; his grandchildren, Jennifer Owen (Mike White), Scott Owen (Jess), Indira Danner (Greg), Tyler Owen (Kate), Sarah Izzo (Rick), Spenser Robert Doty and Carter Owen Doty; and his great grandchildren, Sebastian Paul Danner, Haley Elizabeth Owen, Alma Cathleen Danner, Jackson Robert Owen and Emma Joan Owen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Walker Brothers Funeral Home (15 West Ave, Spencerport, NY 14559). The military honors will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
