With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Rein (Spring Valley, New York), who passed away on April 15, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dr. Julius Rein; her children, Jay Rein (Amy), Susan Levy (late Brett), Sheryl Rein and Rachel Rein-Denmark; her grandchildren, Dr. Lauren, Marni, Sydney, Julian, Ariella, Ben and Peri; and her child Bat Mitzvahs.
Memorial contributions in Sylvia's honor may be made to the North Shore Animal League of America.
