He was predeceased by: his siblings, Edward W. "Bud" Smith and Jane Shriver. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Harvey Smith. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews and several close friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Springfield Cemetery (7831 NY-80, Springfield Center, NY 13468). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Maplewood (3941 US-20, Richfield Springs, NY 13439).
