He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Ballard and Josephine Ballard (Moore). He is survived by: his wife Debora Ballard (Scully) of Stamford; his children, Michelle William (Jay) of Ohio, Lindsay Ballard (Jim) of Roxbury, Emily Ballard of Walton, Adam Ballard (Braiden) of Gilboa and Danyel Muthig (Stephanie) of Stamford; his grandchildren, Shakim, Jasmine, Logan, Jayda, Olivia, Aiden, Peyton, Jackson, Levi and Ellie; his brothers, Daniel Ballard of Grand Gorge and Steven Jaeger of Oneonta; his stepmother Arleta Jenkins of Margaretville; his mother-in-law Nouie Higgins of Roxbury; and his stepbrother Arnold Jaeger of Prattsville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Roxbury Fire Department in memory of Jon.
