He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Pickett and Daisy Pickett (Moore); his former wife Darlene Pickett; his son Wayne R. Pickett; and his brothers, Francis and Richard Pickett.

He is survived by: his wife Christine Pickett of Stamford; his children, Dwayne Pickett (Carrara) of Stamford, Michael Pickett (Sharon) of Kingston and Jill Fluet (Kevin) of Newmarket, NH; and his grandsons, Kyle, Christopher, Rian Pickett, Nathan and Cameron Fluet. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
