He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. McCarey and Laura McCarey Sr. (Darling); his great grandchild Aspen Miller; his siblings, Barbara Dalziell, George and Joe McCarey; his nephews, Christopher Farley, Micah McCarey and Joey McCarey; and his pet Hunter.
He is survived by: his children, Carol McCarey (Todd Wilcox) of Auburn and Patrick McCarey II (Billijo Blair) of Oswego; his grandchildren, Doug, Nick, Eric Miller and Megan McCarey; his great grandchildren, Malakai and Vienna Miller; and his siblings, Robert McCarey (Gigi) and Teresa Powers (Tim). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many close friends.
