He was predeceased by: his parents, Patsy Pierno and Laura Pierno; his wife Marianna Pierno; his son Patrick; and his close friend Donna Freeman.

He is survived by: his children, Laura Cordiviola (Robert), Carmela Garda (Dennis), Anthony Pierno Jr. (Susan) and Stephen Pierno (Christine); his grandchildren, Derrick, Nicole, Anthony, Joseph, Taylor, Kasi, Thomas, Stephen, Christopher, Lea and Robert; and his great grandchildren, Gianna and Donald.

Anthony's generosity was felt by many, for years he was the equipment director for Gateway Baseball League, donating hours of his time to the league so children could play ball in a safe environment.
