She is survived by: her children, Michelle Gonsieski, Michael Gonsieski, Dawn Cassara, Nicole Virga and Gregory Gonsieski; her grandchildren, Devin Gonsieski, Sabrina Gonzalez, Nicholas, Gianna Cassara, Gabriella and Victoria Virga; her sister Patty; her nephew Christopher; and her niece Dena. She is also survived by her extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or ASPCA, organizations Bernadette felt strongly about.
