Charles Mazzone Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Mazzone in Staten Island, New York, who passed away on June 13, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Adinolfi (Biagio Mazzone) and Charlie; his wife Margit; his son Christopher; and his sisters, Mildred "Millie" Nitto and Anna Masiello.

He is survived by: his sons, Steven Lassell (Carolyn) and Michael Lassell (Audrey); his daughter-in-law Lydia Mazzone; his niece Stella Aliotta; and his nephew John Nitto (Louise). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a great-great-nephew.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Charlie's memory to one of the organizations close to his heart: The ASPCA, Staten Island University Hospital, and the New York Public Library.
