Charles Munafo Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Munafo of Staten Island, New York, who passed away on November 25, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Charles had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Charles may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his son Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his brother Anthony; his sister-in-law Patricia; his son Charles; and his foster sons, Janson Ly and Steven Lu.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (2819 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the St. Charles Church (200 Penn Ave, Staten Island, NY 10306).
