She is survived by: her siblings, Marie, Frank and Frances; her husband Joseph D'Agostaro; her children, Theresa and Giacomo; her children-in-law, Albert and Debbie; her grandchildren, Emily, Joseph and Stephen; her sister Joanna; and her brother-in-law Vito. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Until the COVID pandemic and increasing illness got in the way, Claire spent a lot of time in the last fifteen years with her beloved companion Richard Santo.
A breast cancer survivor herself, Claire had spent many years as a volunteer for the American Cancer Society's Reach to Recovery program, counseling and encouraging other women experiencing the effects of breast cancer surgery.
