Dawn leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Dawn’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Dawn will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Hynes; and her parents, Richard Warren Mueller and Beverly Mueller (Schmutz). She is survived by: her sons, Warren Hynes of North Plainfield, NJ and Eric Hynes of East Williamsburg, Brooklyn; her daughter-in-law Amy Hynes (Cumming); and her granddaughters, Katherine Hynes (Katie) and Chelsea Hynes.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Casey Funeral Home (350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026.
She also lived with Alzheimer's for more than five years. The family asks that anyone wishing to contribute to Dawn's memory make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association or the Arthritis Foundation, in lieu of flowers.
